At The Avenue Wealth Management LLC, we are committed to providing exceptional wealth management services to our clients. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding fees, refunds, and cancellations for our professional financial advisory services.

We believe in transparency and want our clients to fully understand our fee structure and the circumstances under which refunds may be applicable.

Service Fees Structure

Asset Management Fees

Our asset management fees are calculated as a percentage of assets under management (AUM) and are billed quarterly in advance. Fee schedules are clearly outlined in your Investment Advisory Agreement.

  • Fees are prorated based on the number of days in the billing period
  • Fee percentages may vary based on account size and service level
  • All fees are disclosed in writing prior to engagement

Financial Planning Fees

Comprehensive financial planning services may be offered on a fixed-fee or hourly basis, depending on the scope and complexity of your financial situation.

  • Fixed-fee arrangements are agreed upon before work begins
  • Hourly rates are disclosed in advance
  • Detailed invoices are provided for all services rendered

Consultation Fees

Initial consultations are complimentary. Subsequent consultations for non-clients may be subject to hourly fees as disclosed at the time of scheduling.

Refund Guidelines

Asset Management Services

If you terminate your advisory relationship with us, you are entitled to a prorated refund of any prepaid fees for the unused portion of the billing period.

  • Refunds are calculated based on the number of days remaining in the quarter
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing
  • Refunds are typically processed within 30 business days
  • Refunds are issued via check or electronic transfer to your account on file

Financial Planning Services

For fixed-fee financial planning engagements:

  • If you cancel before work begins, you will receive a full refund minus any administrative costs
  • If you cancel after work has commenced, fees will be charged for work completed, and any remaining balance will be refunded
  • For hourly engagements, you will only be charged for time actually spent on your behalf

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Fees for services already rendered
  • Third-party costs incurred on your behalf (e.g., legal fees, custodian fees)
  • Administrative fees for account setup or transfers
  • Fees for completed financial plans or reports

Termination Process

Either party may terminate the advisory relationship at any time by providing written notice. To ensure a smooth transition:

  1. Submit written notice of termination via email or certified mail
  2. Allow up to 30 days for final account reconciliation and fee calculations
  3. Coordinate with our team regarding asset transfers or account closures
  4. Receive final statement and any applicable refund within 30 business days

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about fees or believe you are entitled to a refund not addressed in this policy, we encourage you to contact us directly. We are committed to resolving any disputes fairly and promptly.
